When It's All Said And Done...

the 4 graduating seniors won a total of 2 games in the Tournament. That won't get it done. I don't necessarily place the blame squarely on their 8 shoulders. Timing is so important in all aspects of life and basketball is no different. It's not their fault the supporting cast, especially the last 3 years, was so weak. With better surrounding talent, at least this season, they would have made a deep run. Each of the 4 have represented both the University and themselves in stellar fashion. While they're not going out as champions, they each a endeared themselves to the Marquette faithful.
As the true new era begins, I think the coaching staff gets the big picture. I trust they will put together a talented, complete team with sound offensive and defensive philosophies. If Buzz and his staff do, they will make that deep run in March that we're all waiting for.
