a good friend of mine swears that he knows one of the players was smoking recently (i will not name the player, nor am i condemning the player) My only reason for posting this is that i find it very hard to believe that a player would smoke during season for various reasons. are things like this common in college/pro sports?

i understand kids smoke weed. that is not the issue. i just assumed that they stopped im season due to cardio and possible legal consequences

NCAA athletes are subject to year round drug testing.  Failing a test means a 1 year suspension.

LOL! Weed is so prevalent in the NBA, I think they may actually smoke on the bench during games.
