Rosiak = ?

Let me preface this post by saying that I'm relatively new to posting on this board (have been reading it for a few years).  Overall, it's fun to read the posts & hear all of us talking about MU b-ball, a team/school I take great pride in as an alum.

One thing that irks me is this Rosiak character from the Milw Journal Sentinel.  This guy is completely useless.  His articles usually provide absolutely zero insight & he is ALWAYS misquoting folks & providing stats that contain errors.  Anywho, just needed to get that off my chest.  I believe following MU b-ball is his major role at the newspaper. 

I've heard an interview with him as well & he provides zilch during those dialogues.

Quite frankly, he is a disgrace to his profession.  (I'm really a good guy but had to get this off my chest).

Rosiak is a godsend compared to some of the people that used to cover the team for the JS.

For all the UW-centric crap that the Journal brings out, Rosiak is a complete breath of fresh air. Daily, he is able to come out with numerous stories about the team and does a much better job at covering MU than the UW and UWM beat writers do at covering their teams.

As a former newspaper guy, I think Rosiak does a pretty good job. I'd love to rip on the JS, and I think they do very poorly in some respects, but TR isn't one of them most of the time.

Mu does not get anywhere near the coverage that other BE programs get in the Urinal.  That is not Rosiak's fault.  he does a pretty good job witht he very limited space he gets, the half page articles and depth that other programs get is apparently just not going to happen with the Urinal.  Small pregame and post game articales are apparently all the Urinal will ever allow.  The blog definitely helps adn is a huge improvement to the coverage.  I agree with the others....Todd is an incredible improvement over Nickel..not sure if she ever covered a sports team before she got the MU gig, reading her stuff never gave the indication she had.  DOL was simply a hater..a Sincy grad on top of it.  Before them was Berghaus if i recall and he was not bad in the paragraph the Urinal gave him.

I love Rosiak.  His offseason stuff was like oxygen to a drowning man.  And he is always ALWAYS objective.
