Absolutely amazing. Kinda puts this whole sports thing in perspective. Al was right about winning only matters in war and surgery. He probably could have added water landings also. Bet the pilot isn't some arrogant, contrived a-hole either. Wouldn't blame him if he was though. Probably underpaid as well. May also put more passengers in the seats of U.S. Air as well and elevate their place in the industry.

I heard the pilot flew air gliding aircraft in the past so he was somewhat familiar with landing without engines.  Still absolutely amazing he was able to bring down a passenger plane without engines.
