The smokeless tobacco usage presents a huge potential health hazard. My advice to him or any user would be to stop immediately regardless of the "buzz" you may be receiving.

I'd recommend he kicks the Oprah bit as well

And if anything Bill Hall spitting his massive wad in the batter's box would be a bigger influence on the youth of Milwaukee

Prince Fielder consistently has dap stains all over his jersey after running out a play.

I too lost it for Oprah about a year ago. Wouldn't go across the street to hear her or Crean speak.

Very. Small. Buyout.

Going on the cheap isn't necessarily a bad thing. It's the value of the dollar spent that matters.

you have absolutely no idea what the buyout is.  Please go away, your negatity since 4/1/2008 is boring

I now realized why Buzz is appearing on ESPN.com three months after he was hired.  I believe today is the first day since April 1 that did not have the words "Tom Crean" on the front page.  Finally had room for him.

From the article:
Added Crean: "He took a real leap of faith. He did not believe in the way things were going there, and he was excited about what we were doing. I looked at it as we'd be fortunate to have him for two, three years at the most, and then he'd be a head coach again."

This is part of Crean's problem: hiring guys who will stay as an assistant. Sure, it's great to bring in some up-and-comer but look at lots of the premier programs in the NCAA: the tops coaches KEEP their assistants and don't expect them to move on in just a few years. Continuity is compromised and I think it is fair to say that it really affected MU's coaching staff and their effectiveness.

And to boot, this hiring mentality of getting up-and-coming assistants really smacks of establishing a "Crean Legacy" a la Izzo.

And I loved this line:
Williams' prior knowledge of Marquette's personnel will help, and he plans to run an offense similar to Crean's.

I thought it was a winning offense not a Crean one. ;)

also pouches make for quick cleanup when someone steps into the office etc.

The only time pouches are acceptable is after you've finished one of those fruity umbrella drinks or during your monthly mani/pedi.
