Everyone needs to relax.  I'm shocked to be the voice of reason here.

People like you are why our athletes lose

Muggsy if you really want to be useful, you will go Jeff Gilooly mode on whoever is playing one of the (white) American players in the US Open.
"If we finish off this recruiting class on a high note and have another good year next year, with one 2018 already signed up (Bailey) we may be on the verge of a new era of sustained basketball success which would be known to all as the Golden Eagles era." - Herman Cain

Alcaraz wild with his forehead early.

MuggsyB

Both guys not near their A game so far.  But Alcaraz just does things you cannot teach.

MuggsyB

I hope I'm wrong but I like Sinner's chances after those three thunderous down the line shots.

MuggsyB

Alcaraz is having a rough day but it's rare you see him this frustrated.  His serve has been way off but Sinner is outplaying him.  Jannik has also been much better tactically.

PEDs won out today.

His wife is an academic fraud, he's going to have to move out of NYC, Harvard is fine and now the Tennis HOF won't take his money. Poor guy might have to give to a real charity

I didn't even see this quote " "What has not been disclosed is that I played a doubles tournament 10 days prior at the HOF, and I played great. The field was comprised of former pros and top college players from around the world, but 55 plus in age. Richey Reneberg and I lost in the semis to the ultimate winners of the tournament in the tie breaker ... Where things went wrong is that I hadn't been beta tested in a professional tournament and my nerves got to me.

"Jack also chose the ad side and I have been playing the ad side for the last year. I was also serving into the 1:30pm sun with a shot clock (a new experience for me), and to make matters worse the other side held back making the whole thing look like a farce.""

That's part of the allure.

The third set yesterday between Davidovich Fokina and De Minaur, was beyond incredible.  The 10th game took 14 1/2 mins with De Minaur saving three match points. The fact that Davidovich Fokina has still not won a title made it even more dramatic.  Very high level match as well with insane points.

BM1090

I'm pretty impressed with Nava. He looks like a top 50-60 guy, not someone who is ranked 114 and was ranked in the 200s late last year.
