Quite a number of years ago, I met the former mayor of a town about a half hour from us. He bragged about what a great mayor he was and went on and on. Then I asked him why he left his office some years earlier but never ran for office again. His BS answers were hilarious because I knew why he had been absent from office. He and a couple coconspirators were serving their sentences after being convicted of money laundering.

Wow, I missed this thread completely. I think it happened during a period when I was temporarily suspended for politics.Turns out the people I always thought were major assholes and somewhat disturbed, actually are major assholes and somewhat disturbed.
