As much as I love the BET and my wife and I have gone 3 times, it's got to be Hell on the teams that win with back-to-back games. I like the 8-1 scenario. It gives our team time to rest up and prepare for the NCAA. I would be cheering Marquette on to win the BET championship, but I think that it is not in the cards for us this year.
Wild horses couldn't drag me into either political party, but for very different reasons.

UCONN probably wishes they were more rested for last year's NCAA Tournament and had just taken an L in round 1 of the Big East Tournament.

Ha! Very true, it didn't hurt them too much now, did it? But this is a subject brought up every year with the various conferences-the champs have quite a workout and if they fall early in the NCAA, the conference championship tourney is sometimes the scapegoat.
