That is not playing well. At all. And that's with the Providence game propping up the efficiency.
Thank you for providing the numbers that back up what I've been saying.

Kam and Jop don't look comfortable shooting the outside shot, the bread and butter of their offensive games the last 3 seasons.

That's actually a good thing imo, as I see that confidence returning before things are said and done.
Hopefully at the perfect time in March

It's not just Kam and Jop, either. It's everyone.

But the thing that bothers me the most is how badly the shots are missed. You can see when the ball leaves their hand that it has no chance of going through the hoop.

Ultimately, this is what will cause our exit in the tournament. Kam will be better because it will be out of Conference play and teams won't handle his drives as well. We should also see more open 3s - I just worry over how poorly we shoot them.

JTY would help us for sure.

This is basically the same issue that was covered a couple of weeks ago that MU was not playing like a top 20 team. Their season long rankings are built largely off of the good OOC wins. But in conference play (and actually starting before that- see Dayton) the performances have not been that great and they haven't been getting better.

MU has exceeded expectations. I was thinking there would be more of a glaring hole losing Kolek/Oso guys and somehow they're still sitting atop the big east ranks and 18-4 overall. A couple of those losses really should have gone the other way too.

Shaka has done a great job with the defensive identity but last night was a clear indication the offense is not always up to par. Kam's struggled most of the year from deep. MU lacks consistency on offense which is starting to show more lately. Who is going to show up? Issues in the front court with rebounding and overall production. Despite these issues MU is still right there and somehow found their way chipping back at the big deficit and almost pulled off another second half comeback.

They really need to figure out how to come out strong in the first half so they don't play so tight. Shaka really seemed directed at Kam in the huddle last night regarding his hesitancy to make mistakes and affecting his play.

Right on. This team, especially Kam, badly misses Sean at PG.

Not sure if it is anything but Kam has a wrap on his shooting wrist and it appeared he was holding holding his wrist for an a short time and trying to shake it off when he went down and was going to the line one time

Agreed with what others have said.  Kam and Jop are spending energy in other areas which is hurting their shooting.
