It is true that the offense clicks best with Tyler on the court. But, I am worried about the minutes he is playing and the possibility of Tyler wearing down at the end of the year. I wish Tre Norman was progressing better and earning more playing time.

People always say this. And then I tell them to look around the league.

TKs minutes are not close to abnormal for a star.

Heck some teams like Creighton and Kansas literally don’t have benches

What a great few days. Saw 2 awesome wins in person, hung with some college buddies, spent time with my grandkids and my son, finally met tower (and also Lurch91), had a few (too many) beverages, just really enjoyed life!

We Are Marquette!!

Sounds like a blast.  Happy for you.  Can’t take that stuff for granted.

I share those concerns... it's not so much the minutes it's the physicality that worries me. Having Oso and Kam help initiate the offense hopefully will ease some of that.

After Saturday, the 2 weeks at home should be a nice time for some rest and recovery. Shaka said on one the shows last week that they have a lot of guys that are a bit banged up and sit out a lot in practice so I trust the staff to manage that well.

What would concern me is 3 games in 3 days in the BET playing max minutes less than a week before the tournament. Unlikely to happen, but I wouldn’t mind seeing an extended bench in that first BET game.

Fantastic!   You could not have scripted it any better than you lived it!

Move the bender to Hartford. You are Scoop's good luck charm.

We seriously talked about it last night but just can’t do it, doggone it!

I love going to games at Fiserv, but there’s something about being there for road wins that’s really fun.

Chatham Tap, a nice restaurant just outside Hinkle, was transformed into a Marquette Bar before the game.   Wall to wall MU fans.   So cool.

I was at Chatham before and after. Got there pre-game just in time to grab the last 2 seats at the bar. Place used to be called Scotty's Dawg House. Butler fans are very congenial.

Agree. Every interaction I've had with them the 3 times I've gone to MU@Butler games has been positive.

I was at the airport today wearing a gold Marquette sweatshirt, and a couple Butler fans came up to me and started a conversation. The general tone was: "You have a really great team. I love how they move the basketball and are so unselfish."

Glad to hear that. Even before Georgetown turned into a joke, their fans were like Butler's. Also, Villanova fans at the BET.
