We celebrate the same play.  And said similar things.   So, bravo.

I don't know how bold of a claim that is.  I said since Clingan returned that it's a huge risk for him, as he was projected as a first round pick based on limited minutes last year, and he could only get exposed and/or injured.  The injuries have occurred, while thankfully minor.  He's been good, but to me he's closer to an Edey than a Dereck Lively.  Big, slower, productive college player.  Maybe he'll turn into Walker Kessler, but I don't see it.  The other competition is Kalk, who I've thought is extremely overrated.

Give me Oso every day of the week.

I'll take Oso all day long. I think he is playing in the moment and knows the stakes are high, both for his future and MU's goal of winning a NC. Aside from his play, he seems like a man on a mission of late and it is carrying over to other guys. He definitely looks like he has taken over the team leadership from TK in some regards. I am beyond impressed with his continued improvement.

Wadesworld, to my eyes Kalkbrenner has never returned to his pre mono level.   Still good.   Only occasionally dominant.

Oso is also going to be a well deserved 3rd player to get their 1,000th career point this year.

Needs to average 9.6 ppg and thats assuming we go 1 and done in both tourneys(not happening)
Lazar picking up where the BIG 3 left off....

I thought having Oso initiate the offense for a greater share of possessions last night was an interesting wrinkle from Shaka. I wonder how much of that was something on film they saw vs. trying to reduce some of TK's wear and tear.

I've been really impressed by Oso this year - the one guy who has clearly taken a step forward - and he was already pretty darn good last year.

If he could knock down a 3, you'd have to think he'd be a lottery pick - given the $$$ discrepancy between late 1st round and lottery, you think he'd be putting up 1000 3s every day to try and acquire that skill. Still - no better teachers than NBA coaches - surely there's a few out there that think "I could teach that guy to shoot"

Oso and I are the same. Often times when I'm on the court (Pickleball), you can see I'm just on another level compared to the other players.

It's still fun, I enjoy it, but the current level I'm playing at ... I'm just better. So I can relate to how things feel for Oso.

Love the guy!  Picture of serenity on the court. Never seems to get overly high or low or loses composure regardless of circumstances. Excellent leader!

Wish he would develop a nice midrange and or outside shot he would be awesome'er!

That's a bold claim, I know

It wasn't all that bold of a claim. Only Clingan is even in the conversation for anyone who actually has watched Big East teams play basketball this season, and Oso does far more than he does.

If you said he was the best center in America, that would have been bold.

I did like the article, the tables and the video you highlighted, so thanks for posting.
