While we're considering setting new precedents, we could also consider a defensive player of the game shout-out alongside the SOTG. Have a feeling that lock down, violent defense is going to be a part of this team's brand going forward, so it could be good to start specifically recognizing standout effort on that end in addition to all around SOTG.

Tyler Kolek for his leadership and dominating play. He has returned the Warriors to be the best of the gold bloods who are far superior  over the blue bloods.
