Can anyone enlighten me on the happenings around Cam's most excellent UConn bench adventure? I re-watched that part of the game and I cannot quite figure out what percent he got trapped there after the play, what percent he was instigating things, and what percent was the randomness of the play? Given his comments wishing UConn's a safe trip home to their first home, I wonder.

I did like his response to the question from the press asking about whether he just put up the shot prayed that his long three would go in. A flat, No, I thought it would go in. I think all my shots are going to go in. Wow. Next question?

We R Final Four

According to some there was nothing to see and you are making a big deal out of nothing.
Kam put his face in the way of Sonogo's elbow. We are fortunate that Kam was not ejected.

Kam should have channeled his best soccer player and gone down. That would have forced a review.

I didn't think the OP was referring to the elbow to the face.  I thought he was talking about Kam's dust up with Hurley and the UCONN bench during the later time out.

The dust up started during to Sanogo clocking Kam (purposely or not). Sanogos elbow was a star in its role last night.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

The New York Post's take:

"Jones was jawing nose-to-nose with Sanogo right in the middle of Connecticut's forming huddle before an official came zipping in to break it up."

This is what the limited FoxSports1 camera view showed, also.

I really respected the MU coaching staff getting in there quickly, too.

Jaw to jaw after going elbow to jaw.

He was super calm and cool in that situation.  Keep it rolling, boys...love this team!

Sanogo's elbow was busy last nite.

He can rest it while he watches the championship on TV with his team.

Hopefully they made it safely back to their real home.

Clearly incidental. No intent whatsoever. Completely natural running motion. He was just celebrating.
