6th man of the year.  Congratulations.

That's fantastic. A big congratulations to Jop. He's a talented kid who has obviously worked hard and improved a lot this season -- especially on defense.
Never wrestle with a pig.  You both get dirty, and the pig likes it.

Awesome news!  I guess going 17-3 in conference play means you've got some pretty good players.  😊

GoldenEagles03

Well deserved.

He has so much room for growth too.  As frustrating as he can be (because I know how good he can be), he bailed this team out a handful of times as a much needed weapon off the bench.

Defense and Rebounding are better too!
VIOLENCE!

My spidey senses feel that O-Max will be leaving, and Jop will slide right in and be our leading scorer next year.

No one on the team has made more shot-clock-beating shots this season.

I think it's in OMax's best interest to stay

And the last time I felt this strongly about someone not going pro because they weren't ready was about Vander Blue. So take my opinion as you will.

Congrats to Jop!  Oddly, I feel Jop's greatest value during conference play has been his defense/rebounding..he's really turned it up a notch.  His shooting outside of two games hasn't been very good, but he's enough of a threat that teams have to be 100% aware of his presence on the court.  I look forward to seeing him next season after another summer of work and improvement.

Okay, but where would he be going

Ardmore Mug

Where is O-Max going, if it's a College Transfer , he will have to sit out a year ? ? ?  8-)

david works off season on his ball handling and overall court awareness, he's going to be one dangerous 3 point assassin for us next year along side kam.

re:Omax-we still need his inside game-i'd give him the franchise tag- needs work on his play under control and he could be bo ellis 2.0 lite.  he just wouldn't have a clue on jersey design ;)

Jop is very capable of going off in the BEast and NCAA tournament.  I think he's due to string together multiple barrage games.  He deserves 6th m of the year.

FartyEightHours

He needs to get more involved in the paint imo.   I'd like to se him post up on the block occasionally with his size.  Hopefully the kid doesn't get too used to 3's.

Hopefully the guy who took the second most threes on the team, made the second most threes, had the second highest 3PFG%, and already is taking 62.7% of his attempts beyond the arc doesn't get too used to threes? Hate to tell you, but that ship already sailed.

FartyEightHours

The shot is not gonna be on every night.  With his body type he can expand his game.

We R Final Four

If there is one player that I would like to see get more involved in the paint, that would be Kam. He's so dangerous and crafty in there, and it is a perfect supplement to his long range game.

No doubt.  I think many here have implored Kam to attack more downhill.

Should have gone to Ben Gold. I kid, props where props are due, well earned Jop. I enjoyed seeing his effort tick up a notch especially on the defensive end.

I agree on Joplin working very hard to improve his D and looking for open guys on offense. We have seen improvement with several guys over the course the season and that is exciting. Right now, my goal for the weekend is to see Ross get back in the flow a bit more. He has gone one on one a bit of late and I think has cost him some playing time.
