Paid attendance could go under 2,000 a game by season's end.

Better pull the trigger before all the good coaches get snatched up!

Saw parts of GT/Nova - looked like the “crowd” was in 3 figures.

My wife and I go to the GT/MU game in DC because its easily drivable from where we live. She talked about buying the tickets soon, but I told her that there was absolutely no need to hurry. Also, if we change plans due to weather or any other reasons, good luck with finding a buyer for the tics. Hell, maybe it will be free admission by then, even though it's a Saturday afternoon game.

Wild horses couldn't drag me into either political party, but for very different reasons.

Georgetown football may outdraw men's basketball this year.

I knew it would be high, but actually reading Marquette (-18.5) in a conference game is surreal.

Thanks for posting. Stevie Mitchell is pretty hard not to love.  The kid really seems like an incredible person.

Couldn't agree more.  Marquette has a lot of guys like that and Shaka admittedly recruits a person as much if not more than a player.  Stevie even still stands out from the crowd of great ones in the room.

Stevie was a Wojo recruit.
He seems like a great kid, hope he continues to find more and more personal and team success.

Initially yes.  Shaka had to recruit everyone on this roster whether it was new commits or getting guys to stay committed through a coaching change.

great point johnny-and that wasn't that long ago.  i am really surprised they have let that program go down and stay down as they have.  they've turned out some great ball players.  makes one wonder...what kind of attendance do they have and has basketball just become a footnote and/or a distraction for them?  are they still considered an academic destination?

They have played solid first halves recently and then faded in the second half.   I would love to see a beat down to the point that Ben, Chase, and Sean all get 18-20 minutes of run.    However, if The Hoyas make it a game for a half, I won't be surprised.

Same here. I'm not going to get nervous if they give us a first half fight, and I am almost always nervous during games regardless of the opponent.

It’s kinda nice to have an off day in the middle of a grueling conference schedule.

I mean there’s no off days in the Big East…

Don’t get nervous about this one, watch it calm and relaxed.
We’ve got plenty of games to get nervous about going forward

My main hope for today is a Keeyan sighting.

My main hope for today is a Keeyan sighting.

My dream is for keeyan to get 5 minutes of run early second half with just the starters around him. Have him replace just Oso for 4 minutes during the first second half substitution. I just want a chance to see him without a bunch of walkons around him.

If we don't win by 5 or less today, do we loss our skill ability to win close games?

On paper it’s a complete rollover. I just don’t see Shaka rolling it up unduly on Ewing. I think there will be Keegan, and the walk-in’s aplenty if it gets out of hand. Won’t bet it but lean to a GT cover.
