No need for eating jokes.  Get this whale out of the Seine and in a cold and salt water environment.  Immediately.  He/She is rejecting food and is in dire straights in that cesspool river.  I'm afraid this is going to end very badly for this poor Beluga. Let the Sea Shepherd crew take over.

Yep, Beluga is one of the worst Russian vodkas but they figured out that if they print the label in English and make it look fancy, it can be exported and sold extremely profitably.

I never eat jokes. I seldom even eat whale.

But I agree that we should blame the river.

The whale was moved finally to a saltwater lock.  No idea why they waited so long.

Saltwater is good for preservation, so the French will be able to eat the Beluga in the winter months.

I think it's more like the concept of brining a turkey.

The ability for humans to care for the sick, disabled and other species is one of the great things about us (some of us apparently) amongst a lot of negatives and selfish behaviors and negative emotions.

Keep a big open heart, it is a great thing to have, even if it results in some sadness for the difficulties of others and situations like this.  Don't change that about yourself and don't be afraid to be open about it. The world would be a better place if there were more big hearted open people.

Ty GOO.  This poor Beluga is sadly is serious trouble now.  It's going to take a minor miracle for he/she to get back to Arctic waters.  Very sad.  An orca died in the Seine last year or the year before.  Not sure why this is happening.

Mmmm smoked beluga. The "other" manatee meat. Is good served with three strips of baby seal bacon.

The whale was euthanized.  What an awful, awful, series of events.

Maybe they will use it to feed the hungry
