Ice cream and custard are decidedly different.  And there's a time and a place for each.

Shakes and malts are decidedly different.  Shakes are great and malts are terrible.

Just have to say custard is a very unpleasant word to say and it'd be much more wide spread if it was called "frozen sweet cream" or something
