But we weren't at UL, WVU, or UConn  :D

now I'm not guaranteeing a win @ cinci or anything so Plaxico Burress-like but we will be channeling all of our positive energy into funneling our shots THROUGH the hoop.  Been practicing my OOOOHHMMMMMMMMMMMM's for weeks.

Don't worry, Chicos, Rocky and Spiral are going to the game so they'll make sure the boys are in good shape before they take the court :)  :)  :)

BTW, I think we win by 8+.  We need it, we know it, we'll do it.

I do believe Rocky and Spiral will be drinking the champaign coolies on Saturday, not Coach Cronin.

"don't they also play up.."  you'd think so, wouldn't ya?  .. The games at UL, WVU, and UConn would suggest otherwise.

Reminders of ND and @UW in 3...2...1...

We could rephrase it to they play up to the "moment". They sucked versus Chaminade and needed a tight performance against OK State and ending up smoking them. Certainly Wisconsin and Notre Dame were "moments". I think we could add Providence to that -- first Big East game, at home, would they be rusty from the bunnies.

Let's see what happens. This is certainly a "moment" that needs to be seized upon. Just imagine if they win in Cincinnati and then turn around and beat Lousiville? In 5 days people will be giddy again.

Indeed, this team does have road wins within them.  Last year was a great example, huge road wins that no one expected.  And this is that same team, minus 3 bit players.

We are overdue for a great team game - firing on all cylinders - I saw we win in Cinncy!

Well, it looks like Rocky and Spiral did a good job getting the boys to play good ball.  :)

I predicted a big win at Cincy.  Hey, even a broken clock is right twice a day.  :)

Great win on the road by the good guys.  Hope this streak we're on continues.

Hey Chicos, I know you started this thread, and believe me I had the same sentiment when you did.  But isn't it great being wrong sometime?  We don't mind eating crow when it's a "W" for the good guys right?

I never was really worried about Cincy. They're just not a bad matchup for us like the Louisville's and UCONN's of the world. When you got to play more talented teams on the road it's hard to beat them as we saw at UCONN and Ville'. That's not the case with Cincy when comparing their personal with our's. We're quite a bit more talented. Today was a big win though because Cincy has beaten their share of good BE teams this year. So we didn't beat a cupcake on the road by any means.
