Like I told my wife,  when Amani missed that FT w/ 36 sec and the reb went to Van Klunen,but there was a whistle for lane violation by A+M, I said oh oh   thats it, i think its in the stars to lose.... Up 1 and with the ball in our court with 36 sec would have prob won it for them....  oh well   thats how the ball bounces ! ! !   

We thought if it wasn't a lane violation, we may have been called for a foul on the rebound. Not sure if there was a push there.

I thought without the lane violation it could have been a foul on MU.  They played well.  Questionable time out at the end but the play was going nowhere, so it was reasonable. Would have been sweet to get the first Sweet 16 berth and play in Chicago.

Was at that game. Surprising amount of blue and gold in the sea of maroon. I tried to get a few "We are Marquette" chants started but no luck. TAMU killed us on the boards, Davenport is in the game and they win by double digits easy. Carter is a heck of a player for TAMU and she went nuts. She has even a normal game and Marquette wins easily.

But the real bad luck was Shambria Washington. I have been to 6 or 7 Aggie games this season and she regularly gets the Derrick Wilson treatment. Pack the lane and dare her to shoot. She was a 24% 3P shooter on the season and she hits 3/4 including the game winner. That's not bad defense, just dumb luck.
