 I thought this quote from Mike Davis about the shooter's mentality was great:

"I asked him [Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf]: Tell me what goes through your mind as a shooter when you miss 4-5 in a row. He said it never bothered him because he knew he could make 10 shots in a row by the way he trained in practice. So many players get up and down emotionally because they miss a shot. It's a matter of focusing on the next one."
