The best part of the meltdown was when Cumberland fouled out (bad coaching) and Mick started screaming at Cumberland to "calm the f$&* down" while making an absolute ass of himself.

I saw that too. It was absolutely pathetic. That foul was 100% on Cronin. Kid was hustling, was half a step late to a 50/50 ball and went shoulder to shoulder with the other guy. Not on Cumberland even a little bit - just the kind of foul that can happen at any time but shouldn't have because he shouldn't have been on the floor at all.

They're not going to throw the football program wherever. They have to answer to government/taxpayers on all of the football investments. They will be looking to rebuild the basketball program in the AAC, nothing dramatic is going to happen with their alignment until the next round of conference restructuring. And certainly not saying that's imminent at all, or that it will work out for them, I'm just saying. History says it will happen again and Uconn will hope to be in a good position at that time.

It would be gigantic for the Big East to pull in Uconn basketball, but I'm not so sure we will see Uconn and Marquette in the same conference again in any of our lifetimes.

Why would it be gigantic for the Big East to pull in UConn basketball? Their team is trash right now. Just the past reputation?
