They were tough in OT.

Cooley is cool too.

Nova was, and will always be my backup school.   Villanova didn't have an Ardmore.

The Lens

What an amazing game.  Nova is just too good.  PC is tough, just kept coming, know their roles.

How about Ed Cooley: Get me to the 4 minute mark and I'll get you the win.  That guy is the best.

Jay Wright is such a class act. Watching the post game interview he is really praising the Big East and what it's all about. He's such a great steward of Big East basketball.

I liked how he pointed out the Big East was important to the people in the Northeast. The last two nights were fantastic and really epitomized why this league is so well positioned.

Hey Man. Wojo>Wright.
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind. Rick Pitino: "You can either complain or adapt."

Kudos to both teams.  Great game.

Cooley proved this week he is one hell of a coach !!

My apologies if this has been discussed elsewhere on scoop, but was at MSG and could not figure out why Cooley had two Gatorade towels tucked into the back of his suit pants for the 2nd half and OT.

Did he split his pants? Was sandwiched between 2 Nova fans and 3 Providence fans and we were all speculating and having a good laugh about it.

Any definitive answers on the reason for it?

Oh and BET at MSG delivers. Champ game Tix prices were more expensive than the ACC champ game at Barclays and the place was electric. To channel my inner Ferris Bueller, I highly recommend if you have the means.

I hope to be there if/when Marquette ever makes the finals.

I feel for the guy.

Had that happen once getting on a flight to LA and headed to a business meeting. Had no back-up and, well, I never took the jacket off and gingerly got up from my seat.

By the way, Ed did a nice job coaching his team to the final.

Nova is easily my favorite team after MU...interesting how an amazing ending against UNC can make many in his own fan base feel so differently about the program.

Cooley seems like a great guy...but not sure I would even trade him for Wojo.

He had them handy in case of a bat attack.

Have some patience, FFS.

He's clearly a better game coach.
