Is there a story or some background behind the duo who sang the national anthem last night?  For the life of me I cannot remember their names, but that stands out as the single most memorable anthem performance I've ever seen in person.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

Mr. Nielsen

Those two did a Marquette game last year. Plus, they did the UWM game on Dec. 30th. I believe they do it for the Admirals as well.

Special needs.  They were good.

That's what I thought, which is what made it even more amazing.  Her voice was spectacular and his intonation was antithetically complementary, not to mention right on key.  I noticed some sitting near me who got a kick out of it (seemingly for the wrong reasons, unfortunately), but I was honestly in awe.

His mic level may have been a bit too high, but I am at least glad a few others heard what I did... admittedly, perhaps leading with the harmony was the intent.  Either way, well done.

Not only was it a terrific experience performance, I was totally impressed by Seton Hall?s entire team and staff.  Every member chose to stand with hands over hearts in honor of the flag.  Our gig is growing old.
