I watched the second half.  That 6-5 record for the women looks terrible, but all five losses are to top 25 teams and they took #2 ND and #7 Tenn to overtime, both on the road.  I actually thought that they looked really good.  Davenport is a rebound monster (I think she had 8 offensive boards alone) and Brockton is a really talented all around scorer.  Too bad that they couldn't buy an outside shot except from Spingola, who can't really do much beyond shoot, so she didn't play much.  Hiedeman had a terrible second half, but I think played better in the first.

I heard something about how due their success last year some of the teams MU was scheduled to play backed out, so to fill their schedule they basically had to take buy games on the road at high level teams.  They haven't played at home hardly at all, so Big East season will be a welcome relief.
