I disagree.  Man up and show up for a meeting with the employer that's paid you very handsomely. Sign off on your COBRA benefits, turn in your key card and walk away with dignity intact.

Solid Larry, beautiful dude. In utter words, man up pussay, hey?

Bill White in the 1970s

You're close.

From a story in the Trib... Billy Reay of the Chicago Blackhawks, who was fired just before Christmas 1976. He returned home at dawn on Dec. 22 from a road trip to find an envelope under his door informing him that his services were no longer needed.

Bill White replaced Billy Reay and finished out the season.

Actually, he's seen it all. Or better phrased, unfortunately he's seen it all.

Lol, yup.

"He could have shown up for the meeting, looked athletic director Fred Glass in the eye, dared him to pull the trigger, and accepted the news like a man."

Man there are dumb arguments written by dumb sportswriters all the time, but this is really stupid.  Criticizing the guy for not going to a meeting when you know they are going to fire you?

Kent Sterling has shown in the past that he does not understand business, contracts, reality, etc.

"According to people to whom I have spoken in the athletic department, that graph [on LateNightHoops.com] is incorrect. The amount IU owes Crean for a buyout is $8M through 2015.I haven't seen the contract with my own eyes, but believe the information to be correct." –Kent Sterling, KentSterling.com

Doesn't do the work, and therefore gets stuff wrong. Most media is not good.
