There was a mom on the MU Parent Facebook page last night complaining about her son's draw in the Sophomore housing lottery, and how unfair it is that the basketball players get the best rooms before anyone else gets to pick just because they can dribble a basketball.

Andrei - Did you confirm that tourney shares are equally distributed in the Big East?  I want to say that before the C7 split, the Big East would first distribute half of the tourney shares to the respective schools that earned those shares and the remainder went into the conference pool that was then split equally amongst conference members.

I did not. And I'm also fairly confident X, BU, CU didn't get full payouts right away. Kept it as simple as I could make it. I can try doing some real reporting, this was just a spur of the moment thing that evolved into a full on post.
