Yeah I grew up splitting my time between Albany Park (blue collar neighborhood on the north side) and Oak Park, I can literally crawl to Austin where the most shootings are in Chicago. I'd say the crime on the west side effected me a hell of a lot more than than the cushy Lincoln Park or Lakeview home you live in. In fact my high school just had a kid shot and killed on the west side, and it's far from the first time. So go ahead tell me all about how it feels when you go to school and know that an empty desk in math class is a kid who was shot and killed, wait you don't know that feeling? Want to meet for a drink and I can describe it to you? Please don't lump me into your childhood suburban complex that 90% of MU alumni seem to have.  Especially not Hinsdale.

Jesse, you realize that brewcity77 is elbows deep in the Milwaukee crime aftermaths, right?    That he is cleaning up after the spike in violent crime.      That he was actually in the middle of the unrest and not trying to foment panic over it, right?
