It's based on votes, not talent.

Nope. K state alumni had the most votes and are the 4 seed.

Matty V says Hoopville Warriors made the super 16 last year. Maybe not a slouch team.

I'm telling you, these things never go as the "most talented" team winning it.  I am guessing Hoopville Warriors has a bunch of guys who have played together for a while now and will be a tough team.  It's like adult (competitive) rec league sports but at a higher level.  You'll find a bunch of guys who are out of college within the last 5 years and played whatever sport it is in high school and are all athletic and talented, and the 40 year olds who just put together the same team every year win it year after year.

I agree with this analysis.

Still bothers me a bit that this team is "small".

The better teams are stacked with 6'5"-6'8" guys. Wings that can play post and perimeter.

Curious to see how this team does as they haven't competed together in the TBT before.

This is who I want them to play: https://www.thetournament.com/teams/kimchi-express

EDIT: Not sure these were mentioned
- Ron Howard is on Ants Alumni
- Karon Bradley is listed as a Free Agent
