Update:  ACC probably best performance ever by a conference? Keep in mind that their REAL record is actually 16-3 since they played each other for two games.

1985 - there were 3 Big East teams (GTown, Nova and St. John's) in the Final Four.

FWIW - I checked, and going into the FF, the Big East was 15-3 (which is slightly better than the ACC's actual 16-5, and almost as good as its "virtual" 16-3)

I give them an asterisk. The ACC has as a conference two upset victories this tournament. 10 Syracuse over 7 Dayton and 10 Syracuse over 1 Virginia (another ACC team).

It is impressive that they managed to avoid upsets. I will give them credit for that. But most of them just played to seed. They as a conference had some of the best postseason luck I've ever seen.

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

How can you be any conference......Whatever about of bids......Lets say ACC.....7 Whatever.....

At the end.....Each team has lost at least once......So the ACC should have 7 losses......and a lot more wins
along the way.....

I do not understand your W-L line.....

Never mind.....The only chart you are editing is the "very first" one on the first page.....
