I have gone climbing at Squamish but not on that wall and always with a line. There are some major winds going through those inlets.

I have never seen any slack liners but it is pretty popular up here. The vast majority are tethered - what that guy did is just stupid (but I would definitely buy him some single malt.) Ballsy stuff.

Dude is nuts. Great ad for gopro/drones though. Would have been cool to see a Lily drone circling him for some more perspective shots as well.
