How is someone who continually got lost in the BMO Harris Bradley Center supposed to find his way back from Iowa?

Well played.

9/10 times I'd agree with you, but Iowa State is bringing back a legitimate title contender. Iowa State may never have a team this good again. This isn't a rebuild, this is a time where personally I'd say you focus on maximizing this possibly generational team and worry about the future after the present work is done.

If players are going to transfer off a "legitimate title contender" because they didn't hire who they wanted as coach, then I would argue with that type of attitude, they had no chance to win the title in the first place.

easy...it is interstates all the way from Ames.
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind. Rick Pitino: "You can either complain or adapt."

Yeah there is a 0% chance of a transfer from their main players this year.

After this season transfers/recruiting may take a hit if Prohm don't do his job.

But hoibergs lineup will be out there this year

I can confirm that schools and coaches have been texting Nader. Don't know who and he really hasn't shown any mutual interest but there are some very interested coaches if h3 doesn't like the new coach.

Is he eligible to transfer and play?

I know at one point that Niang was looking but he ain't close to graduating.

I'd be shocked if Nader leaves. No chance on the other upperclassmen.

I would guess he's would be eligible. He transfer from Northern illinois so he already sat out a year. I agree I don't think he transfers but the feelers from coaches have been thrown out there.

If it would give me a shot at keeping my 2 to 3 million a year gig, I'd text other people's players too.

Most likely some coaches realized that their school could offer a better educational experience to Nadir the student.  If he helps their basketball team that'd be secondary, just like athlete is secondary in the phrase student-athlete.  Chicos, help me out here, you've got this stuff down cold.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

If someone poached an ISU player in such a fashion, it would be akin to the old "one lawyer" the bottom of the ocean" in terms of just desserts.

If true, Iowa State should report who those coaches are to the NCAA immediately.  Somehow I find it odd that they would be this stupid to do this on a trackable device.  Highly skeptical.  Easier to do it like a certain coach did with back channels....avoid getting your hands dirty officially.  Quacking....

Everything that's been done has been legal (believe it or not) lot of tiptoing the line but nothing crossed so far.

Just because he sat out a year wouldn't make him eligible.  He would have to graduate to be eligible as a grad transfer.

And is he really going to determine if he doesn't like the new coach, and possibly transfer, in June?  That is pretty short-sighted.

Yep, except for that time he got caught in Gary Harris's high school gym during a no contact period Crean was careful to back channel the squirmy stuff.

TAMU, Knower of Ball

Every coach back channels. Is it right? No. Is it a common practice necessary to keep up with the Joneses? Yep.

Wojo??? Feed Nader some advice!!!

I still don't really think he's that great of a player but we could actually really use someone like him for this 1 season.
