I've long respected Duke's program and Coach K.  Amazing Bo complained about fouls when the first half the refs called nothing on his guys.  3 of Okafur's fouls were imaginary.  Hand checks?  The controversial call off Wisconsin when the refs went to the monitor was actually lucky for Wisconsin. They could have called the two roundhouses the Badger threw when "going for the rebound."  

On a different note, Kaminsky may be the best player in recent history of the state.  Diener was great for 4 years.  Wade had his 2 years of playing (3 on campus).  But Kaminsky's meteoric rise these last two years has been fun to watch from afar.

No, I actually enjoyed his contributions while at Duke - he oversaw the worst four year record and least tournament success in the last 25 years for Duke and you knew they weren't going to win anything with him contributing.

Bo is the most classless coach in sports. After the game, K saluted the Badgers and Bo Ryan. Bo attacked the refs and Duke's players. Give Duke some credit, you had them down 9 with their two best players in foul trouble and they made play after play to flat out beat you. Accept that on this day, they had the better team.

To be fair, after reading the full quote again, it appears he was talking about the graduate transfers.  Honestly, I have no idea why that bothers him.  It's not like UK or Duke or most of the other teams they went against have any of those guys.

Thats just what he called out explicitly.  He absolutely was referring to one-and-dones too as he talked about bringing guys through the program

mattyv, your perspective on Coach K is clearly not universal.   Can you explain your animosity toward him?   All he's done is win 5 national championships, won the most games in men's basketball history, coached the Olympic teams, and done so with class.   Yes, there has been some problems, but I doubt that is possible to be blemish free over a 30+ year span.   So, again, why the hatred?

Winning 5 National championships is overrated?  Well you just shot the hell out of any credibility you had.

Sure Coach K is a member of the rat family and many people hate on him, but you can't call him overrated. I hope MU can some day achieve 1/2 the level of success Duke has had under coach K.
