I'm definitely a shill on this one as two former colleagues are behind it...they are back at Fox Sports now.

Just launched...Fox Sport Big Board app.  Plenty of Big East coverage as you can imagine.

Hope it works - I'd love to get rid of my ESPN Scorecenter app.

Hopefully it works better than the Fox Sports Go app... have had horrible experiences with it so far and that seems to be the case for most users.

Hah, no kidding.  I've got a windows 8.1 tablet, and Fox blocks it from streaming from the fs-go website, so I had to download the windows store app.  It's a piece of sh!t and doesn't usually work right (if at all).

Even the fs-go website has issues.  If a game goes beyond it's usually time, the stream stops and reports a flash crash.  It frequently gets confused about authentication, and gives the weirdest errors about having to fix your computers clock settings (and syncing to NIST doesn't help).

So chicos, tell your buddies to stop pumping out new apps, and fix the ones they have!

That's why I build my own PCs. Get the specs I want and most importantly can run Windows 7 and Linux.

No problem with Fox Sports Go on Win 7 - other than manually refreshing a couple times a game.

Yep, that app is a disaster.  I really hope Fox comes up with apps that work, but my optimism is very cautious at this point.

Good timing. ESPN just updated their app today.  Much better.

Horrible because of the authentication rights?  It ultimately depends on what you pay for on your pay tv side to determine what you get access to on that app.  When I heard they were going to do that through some kind of CMS and tie back into every single Pay TV platform...well, that's a challenging task.

The guys that put out the BigBoard app are a different group, but I'll pass on the info.  These guys actually were the brains behind the Red Zone channel (the original) before the NFL basically pilfered it.  Also created some very cool other applications mostly with the set top box over the years.

Honestly, it's not a windows 8.1 problem...it's the fact that fs-go doesn't let you stream via the web app on 8.1.

My MCPC is Windows 7, and the refreshing during the game is bad too.  ESPN3 doesn't have this problem on either platform.

Well, yes and no.  I have access through xfinity.  If I leave the app logged in, it errors out the next time I use it.  I have to tell the app to logout, and then log back in manually for it to work.  Just a wreck, that gets less than 2 stars on the windows app store, and Fox hasn't bothered to update it at all.
