Rumor: Michael Carter-Williams, Miles Plumlee and Tyler Ennis headed to the Bucks. Brandon Knight to Phx. Isaiah Thomas and picks to Philly.

Rumor #2: Novak to OKC as a throw in.

Clears the way for OKC to deal Durant to Washington, obviously.

I've been at Chuck E Cheese all afternoon so my brain might be fried but who is the other MCW?

Medical College of Wisconsin....

Quite obvious early on that Knight was not the point guard Kidd wanted to run his team goin' forward, hey?

I think its a good move for them, probably won't help much this year but going forward the bucks should not need a high scoring point, much better with a distributor, defender, rebounder which MCW should be good at compared to knight.  I did like knight though, oh well.  Should have parker, etc, etc to get some points next year.

Biggest thing is you don't have to overpay Knight by the boatloads to match an offer he will get this summer or see him walk for nothing.  This is another big win.  Lasry and Edens have taken the Kohl handcuffs off of Hammonds and the guy is producing.

6'6" PG, 6'7" SG (resign Middleton), 7' SF, 6'8" PF, 6'11" C (and draft a C 1st round).  Talk about length, ai na?

LAMUfan

good point about not overpaying, that was coming for sure

friends tell me that Hammond had zero to do with this trade - everything was handled by Kidd

GB Warrior

This is a good trade - depth in both frontcourt and backcourt and many many more years of control, and MCW can perhaps get more efficient playing with real players and under Kidd. I don't doubt that this trade is mostly Kidd, but that doesn't make it not a good trade.

The hidden gem in this is Ennis, who needs to develop a bit more, but is fully capable of becoming a trade chip in his own right in the next several years. This gives us flexibility and gives us a player who will be a better distributor to our stars. Doesn't help us at all this year, but is a great forward-looking move.

MCW is Kidd's preferred PG.  Distributor v. Scorer.

I hope this is Hammonds / Kidd as a team.  Kidd says "this is what I like in a PG".  Hammonds gets on the phone and makes it happen.

Absolutely love the trade.  It's starting to look like the Packers post Dominic Olejniczak.  I might actually drive up and go to a game, especially next year.

Are you kiddin'? Jason's drivin' the whole bus. He's in bed with Marc and Wes. Hammonds is nothin' more than an expirin' contract. As they say in Brooklyn, "don't let the door hit ya where the good Lord split ya," ai na?

I said I hope.  Long term they need a GM and coach.  If Hammonds isn't the guy, find someone else.

There will not be another guy. The Bucks are Kidd's team for better or worse.
