Wrong question.

Right question:

How many years away are we from AL level success? You know, another banner next to that 1977 banner?

MU82

I think it's an interesting question given that so many joyless mopes somehow managed to avoid enjoying the success we had under Buzz.

I agree TAMU. I remember watching a couple Minny games when he was a freshman and he caught my eye right away when he was on the floor. Very athletic - he is going to become a fan favorite.

He is a much better player than what we saw from Burton this year - will make more things happen on the floor, rebound better and turn the ball over less. He will also shoot a higher % from the floor than Deonte.

I tend to find myself agreeing with brandx as much as I do with anybody on this board, so I am now extremely interested in seeing Wally next season.

Wouldn't it be something if he actually is better than Deonte?

Stranger things have happened.

I'm all for it and hope it happens, but call me skeptical.  We have heard rumor after rumor about how awesome MU player X was in practice....the only one that ever came true was Wade.

I remember how gaga everyone was about Trent Blackledge....other than the best highlight dunks in the last 15 years, that was a bust.

I'm just going to enjoy the process

Trend is still insanely fun to watch when he shows up for the Pro-Am. If dunking alone were a sport, he would be an all-star.
