Pritzl commits to Wisconsin
« on: May 22, 2014, 08:44:14 PM »
Brevin Pritzl, 2015 shooting guard commits to Wisconsin. Would have liked to get this guy but it's not the end if the world. Need to lock in other priorities like Diamond Stone and Henry Ellenson.

Just posted this in the other Pritzl thread.

Pritzl to Bucky per Mark Miller.

It's a nice pickup for them but I'm not too heartbroken. Would love to have seen him as a Warrior but I'm confident CoWojo will find even better talent. I mean, he was the lowest rated player we had offered in the 2015 class so far.

Bucky is going to need hit the recruiting trail hard this year. They have 5 seniors graudating, one empty scholarship from 2014, plus Dekker might go pro. They only managed one 3 star kid in the 2014 class. They could really be hurting in the 15-16. Let's take Diamond and Ellenson off the board just to make sure they don't recover.

Wojo cooled on him.

Nah, he was trying to leave him for Duke.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

He was always gonna go to UW. Never got why MU got involved after Noskowiak recommitted.

I'm ok with it. At least now I won't have to sit through 4 years of "these Pritzls are making me thirsty" Seinfeld references. Good luck to him.

I just hope this Pritzl decision doesn't leave everyone salty

What a great obscure reference. I had forgotten about that. Nice work.

Lots of rumors flying out there; from Wojo and his staff being tied up in knots about the loss of Pretzel to the MU staff didn't really want him because of his salty attitude. Also heard that Frito Lay's Rold Gold had offered significant advertising dollars to whatever team landed Pretzel. Too bad we did not land him. Think of the marketing value of "Wojo's Polish Pretzels and Kielbasa." That would sell big time at the Bradley Center.

Of course UW can always market "Wisconsin Cheese on your Pritzl"
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind.
