So that's why you wear those glasses?

I have to wear them, otherwise those who look into my eyes are turned to stone.

respect the process

Teabagger in the Senate race was just advocating legalizing cockfighting this week.

It's Kentucky - what do you expect?

Lexington is a weird place. First time there, I didn't know anything about the town and had a hotel room on the east side of town. Went out looking for a restaurant and it was like I was in a town from Deliverance. But if you're on the north or west side or downtown, it's a beautiful city.

The anti-government guy who received money from the State of Connecticut to rebuild his bell factory?

Please define "teabagger" What in God's name are you referring to?
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind. Rick Pitino: "You can either complain or adapt."

There's such a thing as a "pro-tax guy"?

Nobody is pro-tax.  Most people see it as a necessary evil that everyone wants to be as close to zero $ as possible.

Reminds me of a Dowager Countess line that my kids continually repeat for some reason:
"I don't dislike him, I just don't like him. Which is quite different."

I can only think you are joking.  Yes, there are plenty of people that are pro tax.  To say Nobody is pro-tax is just patently false.

Now, I will agree with you that most folks think it is a necessary evil, of course then we get into degrees to define where that evil line is drawn, at what percentage, at what income level, why some people don't pay any, etc.  But yes, there are plenty of people that are pro tax...some to the extremes that want 100% levied against certain people. Often, these pro tax people are people that don't pay any taxes...imagine that.

Read a few Bill Moyer columns, visit DailyKos for an hour (shower heavily when you are done), Richard Wolff, etc, etc.
