I think that was obvious when cords said he was staying for another year.

Particularly when this little gem of news commands its own press conference...
why else would MU call a press conference about nothing?  They are sending a message that the new coach will get to be involved in the AD hire, which is not a bad thing, necessarily, as they both need to get along....

Still, the situation is not ideal.  This is like hiring a head football coach without a GM in place, Packers have been there, done that...
