LOL - Nope...learned a lesson after the MU game...and I've never felt Seton Hall is very good.  But, if it makes you feel better...I did take a pretty good hit betting on St. John's last night...didn't see that coming.

But..I did win quite nicely on Wichita over Bradley...moneyline and against the line...were only giving 12...

So you are saying you have been wrong on every Big east game you mention? And what lesson did you learn?  That road wins in the Big east are not to be assumed or taken for granted?   Good for you hopefully, it reduced the amount of moronic diatribes we have to endure.

I agree....our road win at Georgetown was huge.  Slightly more impressive than our recent victory at DePaul...too bad we frittered away the opportunity at mighty Butler.

As for moronic comment - it takes two to tango - if only the idiocy on your side of the debate didn't exist, you'd never have to endure the "moronic diatribes."

Perhaps one day you'll be able to acknowledge the reality of this season...highly ineffective starting backcourt play...particularly at PG.

With Purnell gone, there's a good chance that they lose him, and he's the best player they've had there in some time.
And a collective sigh of relief from Scoop, because we have nobody that can lock him down.
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind.

I believe that leaves DePaul at 10-100 in BE play over the last 5 years.  Something around there.  I remember the announcers saying in the MU game that it would be DePaul's 10th win or 100th loss.

Had to do the math: .090909%.  One more win (without a loss) gets them to 10%.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Agree. A win over Butler, despite their record, would definitely help MU's overall perception that it is NCAA tourney worthy.

It'll be different with Gtown this time. Trawick is healthy.

I heard that too, so I looked it up.  They were wrong, DePaul is now 10-96 (.094) in regular season action over the past 6 seasons, including this one.  They are 11-101 (.098) if you count the Big East Tournament over that stretch.  3-15 is their best finish, they have two shots to beat that this year, as they are currently 3-13.  They finish home against Butler, so I think they do it.

What are your thoughts on Dawson at PG?

Wrong i have had on numerous occassions stated that we have the worst backcourt in the big east.  Problem is your solution to it (dawson) is as i stated moronic.  Taylor n blue left, duane got hurt 20 posts a day saying dwil n jake arent very good isnt gonna change that.  And buzz throwing those two under the bus is only gonna make one person happy (you).  But thats not what a coach does, and he  inwardly knows this backcourt is weak but you dance with who you brung.  No midsaeson trades in college

That's funny....you are convinced Duane Wilson would have gotten significant minutes....word from Buzz was that "he had a long way to go" to be ready for Big East ball in the Media Day in mid October...before any of the stress fracture issues.  Duane likely will be very good, but he also was quite thin entering MU and likely would have had challenges as well.

I just find it mornoic that you feel my preferred solution is moronic - in that he hasn't been given much of a chance...and other Seton Hall game...he certainly didn't look overmatched at any point in time...and he can knock down 3's and FTs much better than the current option...

If we were winning games against SOME Top 50 teams due to great defense (Derrick's calling card), then I'd be at peace with things..but the defensive approach largely hasn't worked...and many teams PG  has gone off on us as it is.

So, if you acknowledge our starting backcourt is the worst in the Big East - what's the harm in changing dance partners at some point?  It worked out fairly well the one game Dawson got 30.  And if you can't see that Dawson has a lot of talent/potential...well...I guess I'm not surprised...given your moronic take on the situation..
