A little change of subject, and I'm just really curious.  I think the Vander one is the most obvious, but who knows.  Bottom line the team we thought we'd have April last year or even October this year(minus Vander) is different than what we have/had this season.  Does that make a difference in the performance and your expectation for the season?

Vander followed by Duane. Everyone besides Vander is an unknown commodity. How much would Steve have really helped?

Vander didn't transfer.   But I know what you mean so I voted that way.

It's Vander leaving.

...and no, it's not close.
The "average fan" is an idiot.

This is what I get for typing and participating on a conference call at the same time.

While I agree with Vander, I do think the Duane injury is a sneaky big deal.  Yes we don't know what he would actually bring but I think it's intriguing.  The Steve thing is also a big deal I think, his offensive punch and rebounding could have swung some early games (Wisconsin, New Mexico to name a few) that would make a difference now.

Vander Blue would have been a 1st round Draft Pick 20-31 this year.
No questions asked. Him leaving was huge.

I agree him leaving is big, but I don't think he would have been a first round pick this year....likely more of a early 2nd if anything.

With the crazy talented frosh this year....probably not. But I think it would have increased his chances to get drafted in the 2nd round.

And yes, Vander leaving was the biggest blow out of these by far

Maybe late 1st but definetly 2nd rounder.
