IMO, Jake should set up on the same side as Oxtule and feed the post from the wing.   If his man stays, the double has to come from somewhere else.   If his man doubles, simple pitch back out for a catch and shoot 3.

They have done it from time to time and it works reasonably well.  If D. Wilson is in the game, his man often provides the double, so you don't necessarily get the kick out to Jake.  But D. Wilson has been good about doing a curl cut or a curl drive on the kickout to take it to the rim.  A lot of his drives have come on plays like this.

You are right though need to do it more.  Similarly, when D. Wilson isn't in the game I like to see Mayo and J. Wilson dribble drive from the stong side top (Oxtule strong side block) and Jake on the weak side wing.  Both Mayo and J. Wilson can beat their man and take it to the rim and finish.  Jake's defender has to make a decision, help on the dribble drive and leave Jake or let the drive go and hope the big down low can help.  Would like to see Oxtule do some seals on this for easy layups like we had in the past.
