I think alot of the ACC boards do that to cut down on flamers and trolls.  IWB got turned down from the Carolina board a few years ago----they're nuts down south.

For the record, ZFB was granted permission to post on the Carolina board.

From the GT Boards...

No offense here to anyone, but go look at UNC or Marquettes boards? Do you know how much they are talking about Iman? WAY more then the GT boards are. I don't get why no one here seems to care about getting Iman. Go to the UNC boards and even fans who really only care about football are posting about wanting Iman coming. You don't see the GT fans who only follow and care about football doing that. You see administrators hyping the posters up with stickys at the top of the pages. None of that here.
