The good news is we have freshmen who can replace them now and if they do we'll be very good come March. If buzz is stubborn like we was today then we're looking at the NIT at best in March.

Look our backcourt is not our strength this year.  Buzz likes Mayo off the bench.  But other than that it is not like there are magic answers on the bench right now.  Maybe midway thru conference season a frosh will take the next step.

Until then, I will trust Buzz versus assuming it is him being stubborn.

Yeah.  Unfortunately we have low Div 1 talent starting and inexperience off the bench.  Ideally Duane Wilson would be as advertised and one of Mayo or Johnson would step up enough to play solid minutes.  Johnson is just not ready yet, apparently.  Sort of reminds me of high ranked Jones who we thought would be an instant offense guy early on.  But, just three games in!
