I was hoping to run into him in the last week.  Our office is about 2 blocks from their practice facility and where we eat often the Lakers or coaches are there.  Just hole the wall stuff like Subway, Noah's, etc, but they are there all the time.  Unfortunately never saw DJO in the various stints with the Lakers.

Best of luck to him in China

Hopefully DJO and McNeal make MU big with the Chinese.

He was sampling the fare at all the Chinese restaurants in the area

I'm not sure if DJO would count as a 1st year or 2nd year player given his legitimate, but nonetheless, short appearances last year. But if he's considered a 1st year player, that $400K in China isn't far off the NBA league minimum of $490K. But it'd be about half of what a 2nd year player is guaranteed as a minimum in the NBA.

I was kind of surprised that the league minimum was under $500K. I would have guessed (based on nothing but pure speculation given the money involved in the NBA) that even the lowest paid player made a million bucks.
