I think the Warrior would have fared better than the Golden Eagle in this bracket.

A couple issues...

  • Xavier's Blue Blob gets to the Elite Eight? First, aren't they Musketeers? Second, Blue Blob to the Elite Eight? Lame
  • Thank god we beat Dayton. Because it's Dayton.
  • St. Bonaventure are the Bone Wolves? I always heard Bonnies, but if they are really the Bone Wolves, just call it a day. Skeletal zombie wolves beat EVERYTHING. End of story.

Looks like Bleuteaux  moved to Cincinnati once he got kicked off of Marquette's campus.
Have some patience, FFS.

"The Blue Blob serves as a secondary mascot for the Xavier University athletic teams. The Blob is well known for being able to excite the crowd and is a favorite among the younger Musketeer fans. Perhaps one of the greatest memories of the Blob occurred when it was tackled by Theo Nelson following his made half-court shot to win one million dollars at the 2001 Skyline Chili Crosstown Shootout. Nelson and the Blue Blob were even featured on SportsCenter that evening following the game."

Unfortunately it's the Bona Wolf.  And likely why it got booted.  Probably would have been the same case if it were the Bono wolf.

Bone wolves would be the number one source of nightmares if a thing..

The Brown Indian was a thing there for a time....

Damn tiny type...my eyes ain't what they used to be I guess. But I guess you're right...this might be a bit too morbid for Catholic types...
