Nothing will come of this because changes have been implemented since 2009.

UNC is a cesspool but they are are among the chosen schools so nothing will come of this.

Think Duke's 2010 National Championship team and how Lance Thomas took out a $100,000 loan the buy Jewelery.

http://sports.chronicleblogs.com/2012/09/08/could-duke-basketball-lose-its-2010-championship/

If this happened at any other school not named Duke (or UNC), they would have been stripped of the 2010 National Championship, place on probation and banned for post season for a year or two.  But because they are Duke, everyone looks the other way.

If you want an example the other way ... see Derek Rose and his bogus SAT scores, Memphis is not a chosen school so they were stripped of their 2008 season and punished further.

Nothing will come of this because it's UNC.

MU Athletics congratulated 26 MU athletes that achieved a 4.0 gpa during the past school year. Grade inflation disgusts me.

Would be interesting to see what they studied. My guess is, probably not engineering.

Diffy Q was by far my most hated class in college.

The fact that they kept a 4.0 is impress nonetheless. On top of their practices and games. My guess is that a majority of them were on the men's and women's soccer teams,  who unlike our basketball players, do something other than communications.

Nope. COB. It just seemed like the COE was the least grade inflation friendly college at Marquette.

On having 4.0's...

The grade inflation at UW-Madison must be something to behold. I can't speak for their entire education system, but it seems like everyone I knew from high school at Madison was a full time pothead getting a 3.8 to a 4.0. Maybe I just knew a lot of smart potheads.

a pot head friend at MU told me that as long as he studied high and took the test high, he was fine.
