I want this quote to serve as a reminder to the vast majority of scoop posters in regards to the MU BB program.

Cut off Larkin's head, the body dies.

All the talk will be Larkin.  Too fast, etc.

MU has faced Siva, Starks, Woodall, Napier, Boatwright, Atkins, Boynton, Mack, and even the tall Carter-Williams.

The difference will be outside shooting.  Miami has a bunch of Clarke clones when they are on.  Don't let last night's performance from outside fool you, they can shoot. This will be a tough game.

I was worried about Miami...until I watched yesterday's game.  I think they're soft.  They were talking about Illinois' toughness after the game?  Illinois?  Illinois was one of the softer Big Ten teams this year...and the BE is just as tough as the B10.

MU is going to do the exact same thing they did with Butler.  Waves of defenders constantly pressuring the ball.  Make them mentally and physically tired.  Now Miami is better than Butler, but I think you beat them the same way.

Hopefully after two weeks of poor shooting, good Marquette will be there for 40 mins each on Thursday and Saturday.

We survived two horrific shooting displays in the first half against two pretty good teams.  We can't have that again. We haven't really shot that well since Syracuse and ND at home, so we should be due.

I really hope we get some C7 support from the Georgetown fans. I'm glad we're playing in a familiar venue. I know there's been criticism from GT fans on the message boards, but I have to believe that's the minority.

This is exactly what I said in the Miamai/Illinois thread last night. They are soft. The ACC is soft. They will have played against NO ONE as physical as MU is. I think they are in for a rude awakening. Plus, with no one that has ever played in the Sweet 16, the stage may be a bit big for them.

Don't count on it. Georgetown fans will be very outnumbered by the other fans there. The Verizon Center will be full of Indiana and Syracuse fans. Marquette should have a decent presence there too, not sure how Miami fans travel.

My guess would be Shapiro's yacht

Bunch of 23/24 year olds who are in their first NCAA tournament in a weakened ACC. I like our chances.

I'm guessing both IU and Cuse fans will cheer for Marquette in a close game.  As our region is the only one where the 1, 2, 3, and 4 all advanced, there's no big underdog to root for and those teams are probably thinking they would like to face us in the E8 rather than Miami.
