isn't it ironic that the oldest Notre Dame joke is almost applicable to this whole Teo fiasco:

Q: "How do you know if someone graduated from Notre Dame?"

A: "Don't worry...they'll tell you. Also, they're a virgin."

HAHAHAHAHAHA fantastic.

Larry overreacted, we know that. Still, I do hope our folks do come up with something more clever Saturday than "F the Irish."

Any suggestions you want to give them?
Have some patience, FFS.

How about simply chanting--

"Manti Teo"

His name brings a sarcastic smile to millions across the world.
Silenzio. Parla il moomoo.

GOO

I hope we can get through this ND game with more class than the Wisconsin game. Maybe no "F" chants and no "F" shirts...
Well, I know we probably won't, and my faint hope is fading as I type this....

LAMUfan

O% chance of no F the Irish chants, It just sounds too right

I think the whole Manti Te'o angle is pretty stupid. It's SUUUUPPPER played out, everyone has heard every joke, and it's about their football team (hey, Marquette should start a football team).

Not a fan.

Not really my job, but I'll take a coupla swings ...

Sing along to the band playing "Sweet Home Alabama."

Have two male blow-up dolls, one wearing a green carnation (a la Digger) and the other in a turtleneck (a la Brey) and have them make out with each other.

Lame? OK, maybe. But at least they aren't just screaming foul language at the top of one's lungs.

I forgot about this but Deadspin published this very thorough A to Z list of reasons to hate Notre Dame right before the BCS Championship game.  One of the best combinations of vitriol and humor I've seen:

Phone sex with an imaginary girlfriend doesn't count?

Just to be clear..I'm not defending ND. They just suck and are evil for so many better reasons.

Finally finished reading this (I was savoring it throughout the workday). Brilliant. And absolutely hilarious.

Really tempted to wear my "Roll Tide" shirt but never seen them lose at home so the superstition is getting to me. Gotta wear my usual getup.

I'm getting extremely superstitious about this game. I haven't shaved since before the Syracuse game and won't. I wore Lucky Gray (the standard MARQUETTE gray Champion tackletwill hoodie I got my first visit to MU going on 13 years ago now) on Saturday and feel like I need to wear it again.

Ugh, I hate this. It's so stupid but I can't help it.
