...in Tae Kwon Do?

Q: There's a heavy bag hanging from the corner of the practice gym in the Al McGuire Center, and the team is also getting its first taste of Tae Kwon Do as part of its off-season training. Are you guys planning on using hand-to-hand combat in the Big East this season?

A: We're trying to find any edge we can get with our quickness, our hand-eye coordination, quickness with our hands and things like that.

Q: Which two players are the toughest on the team, and would make for a good one-on-one Tae Kwon Do match?

A: Me and Jerel. That's what Jerel is known for, his toughness, and me too. I'm trying to get coach to let us do that.

Who would win?

I would say Jerel, because he cud use his longer legs to push-kick DJ away like jabs to control the tempo...but then again DJ could do crazy damage with super flying side kicks and jump roundhouse kicks...
