So I was looking at the schedule...Marquette has a gap from November 29 through December 8, though the 8th is the Badgers. Ohio State has a gap from December 1 through December 8th. Maybe head to South Carolina again? The Citadel is open on December 5th. Or the Naval Academy in Annapolis on December 4th?

No idea if Marquette and Ohio State will try to reschedule, but I really hope they do. Just cancelling this would be a shame.

What about playing in Chicago? Both schools would have no problem getting fans there. Donate some of the proceeds to veterans.

They could set up an outdoor court on Navy Peer!
All this talk of rights.  So little talk of responsibilities.

I hear there's a basketball arena here with 41 fewer dates booked this year. Something about a lockout.

Or there.  I don't care where they play if they could pull it off.

Perhaps try to re-schedule it for next year, but play it during the day rather than at night.

ZiggysFryBoy

it should have been played on Sunday during the day.  you know, that whole veterans day tie in.  Colgate coulda come back some other time.

Colgate part of the Maui Invitational so MU had to fulfill that obligation as it was part of their ESPN package.

Articles did mention that the schools might be interested in setting something up for the future.  As a lifetime Ohioan/OSU fan I'd love to see this matchup, especially with the team we might have next season.

Hunt's article references Larry saying the opportunity is lost for this season.  Hope we can play them in future years, and hoping we can fill the schedule slot for this year with a buy game at the BC.

I think that is finals week

Going off past years the UW game has always been the weekend before finals.
